Just a blurb...We just got back from the D-Backs game. It was Sara's first baseball game. Anyway...in the 7th inning the announcer says "Diamondback fans please give a warm welcome to, straight from Beijing China, Misty May-Treanor!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! After the entire stadium gave her a 3 minute standing ovation, she pulls her GOLD MEDAL out of her bag!!! The place erupted even louder!!! As all of you know I'm kinda a volleyball nut, and this was just awesome!!! (If anyone was wondering why she was there, her husband is a pitcher for the Florida Marlins, of whom the D-Backs were playing)
I just could not believe it! And Sara was obsessed with two things during the Olympics-gymnastics (she's a little Shawn Johnson wannabe) and women's beach volleyball! How exciting!!
